I have been searching for the right underwear for working out for several years. I thought regular briefs would be the best, but I hated how they rode up constantly while I was running. It's the last thing I thought to try, but I have to say, a thong is without doubt the best underwear for working out in. After putting this thong on, you forget you're wearing it within a matter of minutes, and it does a great job of keeping you cool while running. I would highly recommend this to anyone who works out.
